Twenty floors down. Take what you can carry.

Twenty Deep is a Diablo-style loot crawler — kill, loot, compare, equip, go deeper. It runs straight in the browser. No download, no account, no launcher: click and you are in the dungeon. And you only see what your character can see. Walls cut your line of sight, corners hide what is around them, and the map fills in behind you as you walk it.

Twenty floors, four worlds

Catacombs, caves, a magma field, and a keep — five floors each, a boss at 5, 10, 15 and 20. You go down five floors at a time. Beat the boss at the bottom of a stretch and you come back up to town — that is your save point, and the next stretch opens. Press T anywhere to open a portal back to town; the gate takes you straight back to the floor you left. Every floor you re-enter is full of monsters again, and a pack you wipe out stands back up in its own place a minute or two later, so there is no free loot — only fights. Clear the front of a floor and the back of it fills in behind you. A full run takes about an hour.

Health does not refill on the stairs. Town is the only place you patch up, so a hard fight follows you down. Life comes back on its own between fights — slowly while something is still chasing you.

Loot is the point

Around 300 items drop in a single run — and every one of them comes off a monster. Five rarities, prefixes and suffixes with four tiers, sockets that take runes and gems, 36 uniques, 9 sets, 18 runewords to discover in play. Hover anything and the tooltip tells you, in green and red, exactly what changes if you put it on.

Between stretches there is a town, and three people standing in it: a merchant who buys by the stackful, a smith who salvages and rerolls, and a keeper of a 180-slot stash where you leave what you cannot use yet. Click one and the window opens — no dialogue, no quests. Nothing you find is wasted.

Build your own three skills

Twelve skills across three trees — Ruin (single target), Storm (crowds), Warden (staying alive). You get four slots — keys 1, 2, 3 and 4. They start empty and fill as you learn skills; the first one you learn lands on 1, which right click also fires. Choosing what not to bring is most of the build. One free respec, so the first mistake is not a permanent one.

Controls

Left Click move · attack · pick up (gold is picked up by walking over it)
1 2 3 4 skills (right click also fires slot 1)
Q / E health / mana potion (they stack to 999; the merchant never runs out)
Shift attack without moving
I / K inventory · skill tree
T town portal — from anywhere, any time (not while being chased)
B stash (in town or at a floor entrance)
C continue or start over
H the full list of keys (also in the options panel)
M / O mute · volume
Esc close a window — or open the menu (resume, options, save & quit)

Your progress saves automatically in your browser. One character, one save — starting over asks first.

Notes

Available in English and Korean (한국어). The game picks your browser language on first run; you can switch any time from the options panel (O).

Every floor is generated for your character, and the same character always walks its own dungeon — so you can leave and come back. Monsters respawn when you re-enter a floor, and on a timer while you are still walking it. Boss floors are the exception: clear a boss room's guards and they stay down, so the fight at 5, 10, 15 and 20 is a fight, not a siege. A new character starts in town, one click from the dungeon gate.

Desktop recommended — the game is mouse-driven and the UI is dense. There is no mobile build. Runs at 1280x720 inside the frame; the fullscreen button is in the top right.
